AirPods Pro 3 Showing “Mismatch” Prompt on Your Phone?
Don’t worry — this is completely normal! This message appears when the firmware versions of your left and right earbuds are slightly different. Apple’s interface doesn’t yet display a clear “firmware mismatch” message, which can make it look like an error.
Simply place both earbuds in the charging case and keep the case charged. Within about 20–30 minutes, the firmware will automatically sync between both earbuds.
After that, you can reset and re-pair your AirPods, and everything will work perfectly.
