Step 1 — Place both earbuds in the charging case
Whether you replaced an earbud or the charging case itself, make sure both earbuds and the case are together before starting the pairing process.
Step 2 — Remove your Galaxy Buds from Bluetooth
Open Settings → Connections → Bluetooth. Find your Galaxy Buds, tap the gear icon, and select Unpair or Forget Device.
Step 3 — Charge if needed
If the earbuds or charging case have a low battery, place both earbuds in the case, close the lid, and charge for at least 30 minutes before continuing.
Step 4 — Synchronize the earbuds
Open the charging case lid, but leave both earbuds inside the case. With the lid open, press and hold the Connect button on the bottom of the charging case for approximately 7 seconds until the battery indicator light begins flashing.
Blue flashing light: The earbuds have successfully synchronized and are ready to pair.
Red flashing light: The earbuds are not synchronized correctly. Remove both earbuds from the charging case, reinsert them, and repeat the synchronization process.
Note: If the indicator flashes red, repeat the synchronization steps above. Holding the Connect button for an extended period may reset the earbuds.
Step 5 — Connect your Galaxy Buds
Close and reopen the charging case, then press and hold the Connect button on the bottom of the case for more than 3 seconds. This will place the earbuds into Bluetooth pairing mode and should trigger a pairing pop-up on your device.
If a pop-up does not appear, open your device's Bluetooth Settings and select your Samsung Galaxy Buds from the list of available devices.
Optional — Reset Your Galaxy Buds
If your Galaxy Buds still aren't pairing after following the steps above, try resetting them and repeat the pairing process.
Optional — Update Firmware
After pairing is complete, you can open the Galaxy Wearable app and check for updates under Earbuds Settings → Earbuds Software Update. Installing updates may improve performance and compatibility.
